Privacy Policy
This page explains how Dreamany collects, uses, shares, and protects information across the website, dashboard, and Chrome extension.
Effective date: May 20, 2026
Introduction
Dreamany provides a website, dashboard, and Chrome extension that help users browse reusable prompt libraries and use prompts more efficiently in supported AI workflows. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information when you use Dreamany.
By using Dreamany, you acknowledge that your use of the service is subject to this Privacy Policy and any additional terms that apply to the specific product experience you are using.
Information We Collect
Depending on how you use Dreamany, we may collect the following:
- Account and authentication information needed to provide protected dashboard access.
- Prompt library request data, such as locale, tag filters, search queries, and other request parameters used to return public prompt and tag content.
- Content and metadata you choose to upload or manage through the dashboard, including prompt cover images and related asset references.
- Basic technical information required to operate the service, such as request logs, browser information, and service diagnostics.
How We Use Information
We use information to operate and improve Dreamany, including to:
- Serve the website, dashboard, and extension experiences.
- Deliver public prompt and tag library content requested by users.
- Support prompt browsing, copying, and insertion workflows on supported AI platforms.
- Process authenticated admin actions and protect restricted features.
- Store and deliver uploaded assets such as prompt cover images.
- Maintain security, prevent abuse, debug issues, and improve service reliability.
Chrome Extension Behavior
Dreamany's Chrome extension runs on supported pages, currently including ChatGPT and Gemini, to detect compatible prompt input areas and provide a prompt picker experience. When you choose to use a prompt, the extension may copy the prompt or insert the prompt you selected into the relevant input field on that page.
The extension is intended to support this user-facing workflow only. We do not describe the extension as executing remote code, and the extension's packaged logic is used to provide its core behavior.
Public Prompt Library Access
Dreamany's extension and public-facing experiences may request public prompt and tag data from the Dreamany API. These requests help populate the prompt library, tag browsing, and search experiences that are visible to users.
Public prompt library requests may include limited parameters such as pagination state, locale, search keywords, sorting preferences, and selected tags so the service can return the correct library results.
Admin Authentication and Local Storage
For protected dashboard administration features, Dreamany may process authentication information needed to verify authorized access. The web dashboard currently stores an admin access token in browser local storage to support authenticated admin requests.
You should use appropriate device and browser security practices when accessing administrative features, especially on shared or unmanaged devices.
File Uploads and Hosted Assets
If you upload files through Dreamany, such as prompt cover images, the upload flow may use a presigned upload mechanism to store the file with our hosting or storage providers. Uploaded assets may then be served back through hosted or public asset URLs so they can appear in the dashboard or prompt library.
Please avoid uploading content you are not authorized to share or that contains sensitive personal information unless it is necessary for your intended use of the service.
Data Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We may share information only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, and support Dreamany, including with:
- Hosting, storage, CDN, and infrastructure providers.
- Service providers that help us operate APIs, asset delivery, and security controls.
- Authorities or other parties when required by law or when necessary to protect our rights, users, or service security.
Data Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Retention periods may vary depending on the type of data and the operational need associated with it.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information handled by Dreamany. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children’s Privacy
Dreamany is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can review the situation and take appropriate action.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our products, practices, or legal obligations. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Your continued use of Dreamany after an updated policy becomes effective indicates your acceptance of the revised policy.
